In America (or more specifically, Vermont) we use "Autumn" and "Fall" interchangeably. "Fall" is a bit more popular to use but not by much.

In America, we do call it fall. The first time I hear "Autumn", I was, like, "whaaaat?" Oh---you've been awarded official "dude" status, 'cause you're cool!

(ps from her mom...I like your show. A lot...my teenager is actually enthusiastic about listening to you in the mornings...this is a miracle, btw)

Peace & Good,
Carleigh

Definitely seek doctor's advice. Last year blood work determined I was extremely vitamin D deficient. My doctor had me on 2,000IU a day for 3 mos. A second test showed it hadn't helped enough. I ended up with a perscription vitamin D that was a 50,000IU capsule that I took once a week for about 3-4 months. I'm back on 2,000IU a day.

Hi Father Roderick,

I am a recent listener of your Daily Breakfast podcast. I enjoy listening to it each day! I am a college freshman student at Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL.

This weekend, Oct. 31-Nov. 2, I am going on a retreat for college guys, held at Shellbourne Conference Center in Valparaiso, Indiana.

From http://shellbourne.org: "An Opportunity to Reflect." Shellbourne is a conference center located in Valparaiso, Indiana, that offers spiritual retreats to men and women separately. The spiritual activities offered at Shellbourne Conference Center are entrusted to Opus Dei, a Personal Prelature of the Catholic Church. Retreats at Shellbourne provide the opportunity to reflect on the meaning of one’s everyday occupations, family life and relationships with God and others, in light of the basic truths of the Catholic faith. An atmosphere of personal prayer and recollection is maintained during the retreat.

I went to this retreat, for the first time, last year around this same time for the "high school guys" retreat, and now, this year, I am returning, as a college guy, for the "college guys" retreat.

Have you ever heard of Opus Dei (founded by St. Josemaria Escriva)?

I might leave you some voice feedback soon, perhaps, because I wanted to let you know of this one site that my computer professor told our class about this one site: http://www.webmd.com/. This is a site of which people can go to for health related information and people can "diagnose" themselves based on symptoms one may have... this could be seemed dangerous if an "actual doctor" isn't involved in checking you out, but as a whole this site is very useful... I believe that actual doctors are the ones who contribute to this site. This is a site that I recommend that you use for your health related needs, as well as to recommend it to your listeners on the Daily Breakfast show.

I really enjoy this Daily Podcast of yours (and other SQPN catholic podcasts that I've been listening to--like Rosary Army, Catholic In A Small Town, Catholic Family Podcast, That Catholic Show, and Grace Before Meals, and others.

Thanks and keep up the good work!

God Bless,
Daniel
