Aloha from Hawaii, Fr. Roderick!

I just got my iPod for Christmas and the Daily Breakfast was the first Podcast that I downloaded and listened to this year. It was really great!

I didn't get the name of that author that you were reading (in DB #594). What was his name? I do know that you were reading a translation... and you admired his communication skills.

The Star Teams initiative is exciting! I'll be tuning ("iTuning?" *LOL*) in for more details!

And... Wolverine Rocks!!! *GRIN*

OMG Father,

I'm so excited about this "STAR TEAM" initiative. I love it. I have been doing a little bit of that in El Paso, TX for the past year by giving a copies of the Sample CD from last year. I have also given CD with the Scriptural Rosaries from The Rosary Army to my daughters' confirmation class. She is helping give the class. I was actually thinking this past weekend on maybe making more CD's of the Rosaries and giving them to the CCD and RCIA classes at our church. Please sign me up, I would love to help!

In the comics, Wolverine is supposed to be very short... maybe 5'3" or so (that is 160cm for our metric friends). Hugh Jackman may actually be too tall to play him accurately, but he has been fantastic so far.

No, this wasn't scrupulosity. We're talking regular, genuine sins here, that need forgiveness :)

I wonder if the priest might be concerned that the questioner, the person seeking confession, has a problem with scrupulosity? Some people with scrupulosity are so troubled about their sins that they get right back in the confession line after they have been given absolution. It may be that the priest didn't mean that the person should not come back at all, but that he was perhaps coming too often for minor sins. Or worrying too much and not trusting in the mercy of God.

Since of course, we cannot talk to both the people involved, we cannot know.
