  1. Hmmm…no comments?

Well, as to the format, I like the round-table discussion vs. something more efficiently scripted though I appreciate the fact that schedules are getting tighter.

Anyhow, when it was mentioned that the master of death is love was said, it reminded me that the “greatest magic” that is kept withiin the Ministry of Magic is love. So how do you keep love? Could it be the Eucharist? Or better, coming to the conclusion that the only way to experience love as a distinct reality is in the Eucharist. It would then make sense of why the world of HP celebrates Christmas and bolsters the presence for the use of the phoenix.

The latest HBP+ movie rumor is that Warner is considering dropping the HP franchise…short of the last film(s). I know, it’s crazy but Narnia has been dropped so it’s not unthinkable and the fact that Rowling’s book releases no longer stimulate the frenzied intrest that once was. Then again it’s taking a lot of time to produce these movies and the characters are approaching a physical maturation where they’re verging on not appearing the proper age.

  2. Hey everybody,
I love the HP book discussion but I really wish everyone would check the facts before they discuss book and movie rumors. In the last episode Father Roderick read an email from someone who claimed that Half Blood Prince had been delayed so that it wouldn’t be up against another WB movie, Twilight. This is completely false. For one thing, Twilight was produced by Summit, not WB. Secondly, Twilight was originally scheduled to premiere in December and only switched to the earlier November time slot AFTER Warner Brothers announced that it was delaying Half Blood Prince. Thirdly, in August 2008 Warner Brothers president Alan Horne released a widely publicized statement listing the reasons for the delay. You can read the statement at any of the major Harry Potter news sites such as MuggleNet or the Leaky Cauldron. It only takes a few minutes online to check out rumors so it would be nice if this could be done before you talk about them on the Secrets of Harry Potter shows. And Robert, your comment above mentions another false rumor about WB considering dropping the HP franchise. That statement is pretty funny considering they had already started filming Deathly Hallows at the time you wrote your comment.

  3. Hi,

I only recently discovered your podcasts. I see the last one was in Jan. When is the next podcast?

    Demian

  4. Ahhh-It just occurred to me, that the “Half-Blood Prince” had been by-passed given the release of the final book. Will the HBP gain any coverage here???
