After hearing about your training, it was good to read of the study from Sweden that showed that taking up physical exercise in middle age is a good a move healthwise as giving up smoking, and like smoking, after 10 years the health benefit of exercise in those newer to it is the same as for those doing it for years. see further details as http://www.bmj.com/cgi/content/full/338/mar05_2/b688.

    As someone who was a ‘couch potato’ until 3 years ago, this was good news!
