  1. Father,

I heard about this on the past two Laura Ingraham’s shows. Thank you for the links and Bishop Lori’s audio. Amazing to see such a stark power grab in 2009 right here in the USA. What a violation of religious freedom. What a distraction.

  2. Thank you SO much for your help in putting this issue out for the public to help us in Connecticut. May God continue to bless you and all your works.

  3. Father Jay,

Thank you for making us aware of this bill. I live in Florida, so I am not able to help as a resident, but I did pass on this information to others.

Glenn Beck had an awesome speaker on this morning that told the viewers about the bill too.

You are right, we has United Americans need to stop having our religious rights and civil rights in this case…taken away from us.

    You are in my prayers.

    God Bless You.

  4. Father Jay,
I just found out this morning that the bill has been tabled.

It seems that the immediate proposal has met enough resistance and is of poor constitutional muster such that it won’t be passed in current form. That isn’t to say we shouldn’t keep paying attention
to this, just that this attack seems to have been thwarted.

I am also a CT resident who is appalled that such an attack of my faith has been made by the government. I understand that they are acting in response to one bad apple, but many honest parishes should not be punished for the improper actions of one.

God Bless you and thank you for your wonderful podcasts from the state next door
    Bridget
