Catholic:Under The Hood #197 – The Angelus

As the famous painting by Millet shows, the Angelus has been an important part of Franciscan and Catholic spirituality for hundreds of years. It inspires devotion to the saving deeds of Christ and reminds us of our own participation in that salvation.
