"Mac" as the"the world" knows "him" is actually a cybernetic artificial sweetener intelligence from a dimension that we in our "world" share a pay toilet with on the Champs de Ellysses. "We" still aren't exactly sure why "he" ends up on a podcast most weeks. It's a mystery!

  1. Interesting that in a show where “dehumanizing” is a topic in a discussion about a movie that the intro uses the word “retarded” in a way that is supposed to be funny, but is anything but. There is nothing funny about being “retarded,” or having a “developmental disability” (the more politically correct term today). As a society we use a lot of everyday words as insults, like “girl” – “you throw like a girl” or “gay” – “that is so gay”. I thought we had gotten over the use of “retarded” as an insult, but apparently not.

I think you want to be a bit more careful that your intro actually reflects your values. The intro really colored my whole perception of the show.
