  1. Whoa! A motorcycle chase–in stereo! What a way to get my work day started! Love the show!

  2. To kill the eggs that are present in flour, put it in the freezer for 24 hours. It works for rice, too. What? You didn’t know there were bug eggs in rice? Sorry… ;)

  3. Fr. Roderick: You have got to see this!

Your teaser for the UTube posting of the Tron Legacy Trailer led me to this. To be released also in 3D and IMAX on March 5, 2010 (the correct date for the March Hare) is Disney’s new production of Alice In Wonderland, with two of our most favorite movie partners, Tim Burton directing and Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter. I don’t know about you, but I’m excited.

  4. Well, at least the bugs are cooked!

Actually, the first CGI movie was…ready…Disney’s “The Rescuers”. Rather than traditional cell painting on acetate, it was “painted/rendered” digitally. Of course, going back out to film and being an animated feature, visually no one saw the difference which was the point work-flow wise.

  5. @Robert F.: that would be the sequel “The Rescuers down under”, not the original movie.

  6. Father, great rant this show! I love this message and you are very right about the whole thing! Thanks much because it is important to remember all that!
