Thanks for sharing this powerful witness of the faith in China! I think this family is fortunate that they are American, because they can homeschool their five children according to the Catholic faith. Regular Catholic families in China are only allow to have one child, because of the mandatory one-child policy. There is no Catholic school in China, and children are indoctrinated with atheistic ideology in schools. This vast country is thirsty for the truth that is found in the Catholic faith. Our Lady Help of Christians, pray for the Church in China.

oh, I can’t wait to listen to this. I lived in China in 2001 for a short time and someone invited me to go to church with them, I was delighted to find out it was a Catholic Church. Of course, I couldn’t find the church if I wanted to… it was pretty hidden. But, even hearing the Mass in Mandarin, is one of the stronger memories I have of that time.
