Secrets of FrontierVille
One of the ways in which SQPN reaches out to new audiences is by producing shows that build bridges between the world of popular culture and the world of faith. One of the fastest growing industries is that of online digital entertainment, and SQPN has a number of shows that take movies and video games as a starting point for discussion and community building.
In addition to our already popular show about FarmVille – an online game played by 70-80 million people, SQPN launches another show around the popular game FrontierVille. In FrontierVille, the player is a settler who has to cultivate his homestead so he or she can start a family and build a town.
The Secrets of FrontierVille combines tips and strategies for players with discussions about the history and culture of these early American settlers. The new show is hosted by an international panel, consisting of Fr. Roderick (Netherlands), Deborah Schaben (Florida), Ariadna Quijano (Mexico) and Jim Beegley (Pennsylvania). The show also has a presence on Facebook, where listeners can exchange tips and give feedback.

This is a good tip. Terry, but not really. I stumbled on this for myself. Wish I would have had this wonderful site and tips.

When you are digging grass, harvesting animals or plants, and chopping trees, varmits may pop up. if one of these pops up, continue with what you are doing. EXAMPLE: you were digging up a skull and a snake pops up. BUT if you have more than one skull, rock, or cactus to get rid of, leave the snake there!! you cant have more than one, so dont use up your energy getting rid of a varmit if another one might pop up right after that if you were still digging at somthing else!! Hope this helps

Hi, i listen to most of your podcasts, and i love secrets of frontierville. I have a question that relates to both frontierville and farmville:
You often mention a ‘game-feed’, but have never explained what it actually is (as far as i remember), could you explain what it is and where to find it?
Thanks, Donna

FrontierVille is much better than FarmVille
The only problem is the energy refill and the fact that to complete a building you need friends.

Hi from Baltimore, Maryland. I have a tip that seems to work for me for sending gifts. Start with the Gift Request section to give gifts to people because you’re giving them exactly what they need. Do this before going to the Free Gift section to send gifts to a complete list of people. If you do the mass gifting first you may miss what your friends are actually requesting.
Great show! Please keep it up!

Trees: when hiring, it is cost effective to get them to chop trees. Chop only big trees. Let the smaller ones grow. The tiny trees can be moved, move them to the side. Oaks seem to be big at 12 chops, pines at 8.
