Twin Cities Celebrate Lino Rulli Day

Lino Rulli, the host of the podcast ‘Lino at Large’ and SIRIUS XM Radio’s “Catholic Guy” recently had a day named for him in his hometown. Sept. 29 was Lino Rulli Day in St. Paul and Minneapolis, officially declared so by the cities’ mayors, Chris Coleman and R.T. Rybak.

Maria Wiering from TheCatholicSpirit.com interviewed Lino and asked him how this day came about.

“They say a prophet is never recognized in his hometown. The fact that I’ve been acknowledged proves what everybody’s already known — I am not a prophet.”
