The Harvest is Abundant
More than 30,000 Catholics gathered at the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park, GA June 24 & 25 for the 2011 Eucharistic Congress.
The theme for the free event, which helps people grow in their faith, was “The Harvest is Abundant”.
Speakers included Sister Olga, a nun from Iraq; Archbishop Timothy Dolan, president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops; and Mario St. Francis, a “techno missionary”.
The event began on Friday with mass led by Bishop Luis Zarama and followed by a healing service with Father Jack Durkin.
