Catholic Insider Goes To Spain
Fr. Roderick is back with a series of new episodes of the Catholic Insider. This time, he explores the cultural and religious past of cities like Córdoba and Granada in the south of Spain.
The Catholic Insider was one of the first Catholic podcasts in the world. In 2005, Fr. Roderick recorded the events surrounding the death of blessed pope John Paul II and the subsequent election of cardinal Ratzinger as pope Benedict XVI.
The Catholic Insider series continued with audio tours of places in Ireland, France, Greece and other countries, and gathered an audience of tens of thousands of listeners.
The new Spanish episodes explore the Catholic history of Spain, the centuries of Islamic rule and the following reconquest of Spain and its impact on art, music, architecture and faith in this south European country.
