Hi Catholic Weekend Gang,
You know I love you all, right? But I just have to take exception to your comments regarding the recent James Bond movie Skyfall. I haven’t seen the movie either, but someone no less than Father Robert Barron saw enough Catholic content and connections in it to justify a video that was over eight minutes long. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ml0tKykMso. It makes me want to see the movie. Stephen Greydanus of Decentfilms.com, a good Catholic movie review site, liked it too for the most part.
You guys really need to do more research! I’ll grant you this movie probably isn’t exactly rich in theological insights, but we don’t need to go around trashing movies we haven’t seen.
And you guys don’t even know your own call-in number–seriously? Please tighten up and show just a little bit more professionalism.
Oh my goodness! This show was a crazy sound effect filled podcast!
