I just wanted to note on the topic of lying. The 12th Doctor is horrible at lying. He neglects to tell things but the doctor doesn’t lie as outright as 11 did. 12 is extremely blunt , even with kids (little danny pink). The only lie that stuck in my mind was the very end of “death in heaven”.
