Vatican II In A Year is a complete, day-by-day journey through the documents and teachings of the Second Vatican Council — one of the most influential events in modern Church history. Beginning on January 1, 2025 and concluding on December 31, 2025, this daily podcast guided listeners through each line of the Council’s constitutions, decrees, and pastoral guidelines, making dense theological texts accessible, understandable, and spiritually enriching.
Hosted by Fr. Matthew Schneider, LC, the show offered concise readings, clear explanations, and thoughtful reflections on the Council’s teaching on Scripture, the liturgy, the Church’s relation to the modern world, religious freedom, ecumenism, and the universal call to holiness.
