A comment for Maria. If you are contending with diabetes, you would do well to consult with a holistically trained nutritionist. Their training will allow them to give you a more effective eating plan which can more quickly restore you from being pre-diabetic to normal. Type 2 diabetes indicates that you are slowly damaging your health through your food choices. Most traditionally trained MD’s only know the most elementary changes in food to help your healing. A skilled holistic nutritionist may be a good way to go. My wife has overcome a life threatening condition (not diabetes) through much prayer from our church family and a complete change in our eating and recipes. For example, we now make pancakes with cassava flour and use stevia instead of sugar. Before making these changes, week long stays in the hospital and emergency room visits were the norm starting in 2012. In 2015, no hospital stays were necessary because of following this more healthy eating plan and we have been off of all medications for nearly a year.. Our primary care MD said alternative medicine was dangerous, but the specialist MD hematologist monitoring her blood chemistry told us to keep doing what we’re doing. We will be keeping you in prayer.
